Much easier to sit and get out of
I ordered the one that covers a 68" to 81" couch. My couch is 70". I actually had to place the 2 end pieces down along the bed to make this lay flat. This isn't a complaint. Just wanted to make people aware if they have a couch on the shorter side of the length range, they may need to tuck a slat or 2 somewhere. I measured the depth at 25" and in my case, the depth is perfect. My cushions are pretty shot and I have found this hard to get out of because I've been sinking in the couch down to the bed frame. Now it is solid. I now am sitting higher and can get up from the couch without needing to slide forward to the frame. I also liked the lifetime warranty against the others listed.

Fixed couch sag
This really helped the sag we had in everyone's favourite spot. I bought two for our L-shaped couch. The item comes with life time warranty which makes me feel better since we do have young ones. It fit perfectly since we measure the height. It doesn't show up at all and the extra length folds away nicely.

LIFE CHANGING
I'd give it 10 stars if I could!! 1yr sofa sectional. Love the sofa but the seat cushion was constantly slipping off and then the back pillows would slip behind. This is a long and heavy sectional. My husband is no help. Finding this board...We've fallen back in love with our purchase. This board is extra long, helps the cushion feel harder and nothing moves.

Measure before you order. Take the cushions off and measure the bare seat base, inside the arms and from the front edge straight back. Cushions overhang the frame, so measuring the cushions gives the wrong size. Not sure? Send us your numbers and we'll confirm.

Worth saying plainly
When this is not the answer
The board solves one problem: a seat base that has gone soft underneath the cushions. That is what is wrong with most sagging sofas. Here are the cases where it is not.
A frame that has cracked or given way
If the sofa creaks under you, leans, or one corner has dropped, the problem is the structure rather than the seat base. A board laid across the seat will not straighten a frame.
Springs that have snapped rather than stretched
Webbing and springs that have slowly gone slack are exactly what this is for. Metal that has actually broken needs a repair, and the board would sit on top of the fault rather than take its place.
Cushions that are worn right through
The board gives your cushions a firm base to rest on. It does not put thickness back into foam that has collapsed. If the cushions themselves are thin and flat, you are looking at new cushions as well as a board.
A sofa bed
It helps with the sag, but it cannot fully cancel out the folding mechanism underneath. Go in expecting an improvement rather than a fix.
You like sinking into your sofa
This makes the seat firmer. That is the whole point of it, and it is the wrong buy for anyone who wants soft. We would rather say so here than have you send it back.

What does this product do?
It sits under your seat cushions and gives them a firm, even base to rest on. When the webbing or springs underneath have stretched out, the cushions have nothing solid to land on, and you sink. The board puts that support back.
How do I know which size to order?
Use the size finder. Pick your furniture, then tap the width and seat depth of the bare seat base, measured with the cushions off. It shows you the one size made for those numbers. If you'd like a person to confirm it, send us your numbers before you order.
Will it make the seat too firm?
It makes the seat firmer than it is now, which is the whole point. Most people are looking for exactly that. If you like sinking into your sofa, this is not for you, and we would rather say so here than have you send it back.
Can it fix a very old or badly damaged sofa?
It helps when the problem is soft support underneath the cushions, which is the usual cause. It will not rescue a cracked frame or snapped springs. If you are not sure which one you have, send us a photo of the bare seat base and we will tell you straight.
Does it slide around?
It rests flat on the seat base under the cushions, and the cushions and your weight hold it in place. It is not an anti-slip product. If your cushions already slide forward, tell us before you order.
What is covered by the warranty?
The board itself, for as long as you own it. If it cracks, splits, or the panels come apart, we replace it free. Send us a photo and we will send a new one. You keep the old one, there is nothing to ship back. A warranty card comes in the box. This covers faults in the product, not damage from something else happening to it.
How long does delivery take?
Free shipping across the 48 contiguous states, usually about five business days. Tracking is emailed when it ships. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii or military addresses.
What if the size I ordered is not the right match?
You have thirty days. Return shipping is at your cost, and the refund goes out as soon as it arrives back in good condition. Easier still: send us your measurements first and we will confirm the size before you buy.
