Where the sag really is

The sag is under your cushions.

Lift a cushion and press on the seat base. If it gives way under your hand, a board can help. If the cushion itself is flat, a board won't bring it back.

Much easier to sit and get out of

I ordered the one that covers a 68" to 81" couch. My couch is 70". I actually had to place the 2 end pieces down along the bed to make this lay flat. This isn't a complaint. Just wanted to make people aware if they have a couch on the shorter side of the length range, they may need to tuck a slat or 2 somewhere. I measured the depth at 25" and in my case, the depth is perfect. My cushions are pretty shot and I have found this hard to get out of because I've been sinking in the couch down to the bed frame. Now it is solid. I now am sitting higher and can get up from the couch without needing to slide forward to the frame. I also liked the lifetime warranty against the others listed.

Amazing

I've had my loveseat for abt 2 years, even purchased the additional support seat cushion thing they sell to boost it up a bit. I was about to dispose of it out of frustration bc the seat cushions were still gradually getting sunken in and I got this as a last resort. This simple item made a world of difference and I am now going to keep my couch, the difference is night and day, dont hesitate to get this item

Very helpful product

Very happy with this purchase. I have a full size couch with recliner chairs on either side. Instead of buying a couch sized support board, I purchased two chair sized boards. It works perfectly for the recliner chairs and makes them much more supportive. The center of couch doesn't have a support board and that works for me as well don't tend to use the center. The support board is very effective.

What does this product do?

It sits under your seat cushions and gives them a firm, even base to rest on. When the webbing or springs underneath have stretched out, the cushions have nothing solid to land on, and you sink. The board puts that support back.

How do I know which size to order?

Use the size finder. Pick your furniture, then tap the width and seat depth of the bare seat base, measured with the cushions off. It shows you the one size made for those numbers. If you'd like a person to confirm it, send us your numbers before you order.

Will it make the seat too firm?

It makes the seat firmer than it is now, which is the whole point. Most people are looking for exactly that. If you like sinking into your sofa, this is not for you, and we would rather say so here than have you send it back.

How firm is it? From soft, you sink in, to firm and level. With the board the seat is on the firm, level half. Your own cushion stays on top. Thin cushions: you'll feel the board. Can it fix a very old or badly damaged sofa?

It helps when the problem is soft support underneath the cushions, which is the usual cause. It will not rescue a cracked frame or snapped springs. If you are not sure which one you have, send us a photo of the bare seat base and we will tell you straight.

What is covered by the warranty?

The board itself, for as long as you own it. If it cracks, splits, or the panels come apart, we replace it free. Send us a photo and we will send a new one. You keep the old one, there is nothing to ship back. A warranty card comes in the box. This covers faults in the product, not damage from something else happening to it.

What if the size I ordered is not the right match?

You have thirty days. Return shipping is at your cost, and the refund goes out as soon as it arrives back in good condition. Easier still: send us your measurements first and we will confirm the size before you buy.
